Based in Portland, Oregon, Sophia aka The Laser Lion is an experienced lighting designer and event technician skilled in all aspects of show production, including audio, lighting, lasers, event management, marketing, troubleshooting, consulting, installation, and execution. Since beginning a professional career in Chicago in 2018 and expanding to Los Angeles in 2021, I have collaborated with top companies and venues nationwide, including AIS, Live Nation, and Pyrotechnico. Known for being adaptive, amicable, and solution-focused, I maximize the potential of creative technologies. My extensive field knowledge, combined with a Bachelor of Science in Audio Production, ensures a valuable contribution to any project.
Lighting & Laser Design
Primarily experienced with GrandMA2/3 for lighting programming, with additional expertise in Avolites, Onyx, Show Express, and xLights. Skilled in visual operation using Resolume Arena and laser design with Beyond & Madmapper.
